About the Artist…

Ervin Molnar is a Canadian born Artist who works at his home studio in Melbourne Australia. A talent he was born with he admits, as his entire family were all genetically gifted with art. He has a love for animals, sports, nature and the outdoors as it is expressed throughout his work. Drawing and painting came natural to Ervin at a very early age and was encouraged by parents to pursue his lifelong dream. He paints mostly in oils, because he loves the feel and forgiveness, but does alternate with acrylics from time to time.

He has been a professional published artist for over 20 years. He is published by McGaw Graphics, Inc in Vermont and Hadley House Companies Minnesota USA. You can find his work throughout the internet as Limited Edition Prints, Posters, Jigsaw Puzzles, and much much more. Ervin has won numerous awards and achievements throughout his career and exhibited his art in many galleries throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

Like many nature artists, he is deeply involved in wildlife preservation and conservation and belongs to organizations like Ducks Unlimited, Elks Foundation and Steelheaders Society in North America. Through these fund raising art auction events his work has raised hundreds of thousands towards the protection of wetlands and wildlife habitat.

Main highlight of his career was being commissioned by the Royal Canadian Mint to create a nostalgic Canadian picturesque scene of fire flies illuminated during the night with a luminescent moon in distance overlooking a cozy campfire. The first ever glow-in-the-dark coin technology minted of its kind. The coin sold out immediately upon release.

The saddest thing in life is wasted talent and the choices you make will shape your life forever.
